I want to warn you, one of the things I see happen quite regularly to my clients, shortly after an accident, they're going to get a call, and that call is going to be from an insurance company. And that insurance company is going to have their adjuster on the line, and they're going to be really nice to you, and they're going to try to befriend you. And then they're going to offer you a settlement. And that settlement is going to be a very, very small number. And they want to see if you're willing to bite.

They're gonna ask you about your injuries. They're gonna ask you about how the accident happened. Their lines are always recorded. Anything you say to them, you're stuck with. I've even seen them personally go to hospitals and speak to my clients at their bedside.

Pretty despicable behavior by the insurance company. When you get that offer, it should really tell you two things. First, it should tell you you have a good case because the insurance company's trying to wrap it up quickly for next to no money. But it also should tell you that you need a lawyer, and you should get one quickly because once you employ a lawyer, it is illegal for the insurance company to contact you again. They are required at that point to have all of their communications travel through your lawyer.

Always reject, always, 100% of the time, reject offers that are made quickly after car accidents by insurance companies. Contact a competent attorney and make sure that you prosecute your rights to the full extent of the law. If you have any questions about this, uh, always feel free to contact me at my law firm, 215-825-5183, or you can reach me at my website, LevinInjuryFirm.com. Thank you.
