Mr. LoRusso began building courtroom experience at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office during the “Help Me Howard” era, before focusing on personal injury cases in 2000. Since then, he has made helping injured people central to a legal career rooted in standing up for others. 

His drive to compete began on the basketball court, earning All-American recognition at Xaverian High School in Brooklyn and a scholarship to Hofstra University. He earned a business degree before choosing law school over an opportunity to play professional basketball in Italy.

Mr. LoRusso graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami in 1998. He brought that same determination to a legal career in South Florida, replacing competition on the basketball court with client advocacy.
